The Norton Legacy
Four generations on the same Arkansas valley.
We're the fourth generation to live and farm on the Crooked Creek Valley, just outside Harrison, Arkansas. On our ranch we raise registered Angus cattle, stocker calves, and American Quarter Horses — and we love sharing that way of life with our family and neighbors.
Our Story
It started with ten acres next door.
Will got his start in the cattle business at twelve, when a neighbor gave him the chance to buy ten acres next door. He's been building and growing the operation ever since. Rachel joined in 2010 and has played a key role in developing the farm-stays and beef-sales side of the business.
Whitley and Kal round out the family and are learning all aspects of ranch life along the way — feeding, fencing, working calves, and everything in between.

How We Do Things
Take care of the land.
The rest follows.
We keep things pretty simple — take care of the land, take care of the cattle, and the rest follows. Our main focus is the stocker cattle operation, but the beef we sell comes only from our own home-raised cattle — never sale-barn animals. We raise registered Angus right here on our farm, with a focus on doing things the right way and producing something we're proud to stand behind.
- Cattle raised on pasture in the Crooked Creek Valley
- Grain-finished for marbling and flavor
- Locally butchered, vacuum-sealed, freezer-ready
